Images from Nepal
I’ve been back from Nepal for almost a month, but wanted to share a few more photos from there now. This first one is from the Kalopul Bazar, a market on an old bridge in Kathmandu that I mentioned in an email interview I did with World Hum while I was there. These are bags of grains and spices for sale:
This next one is also from Kathmandu. I was on a bus going to the nearby city of Bhaktapur, when this procession– part of a Hindu ceremony– stopped traffic and marched right by the bus. I stuck my camera out the window and snapped this picture:
And finally, this shot is less picturesque but still part of the landscape of Kathmandu. It’s an electrical pole, one of several, fallen and laying by the side of the road on the way between Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
